My, my miss Mily! A flair for the dramatic, darling! I LOVE IT! Today Mily 'woke up' soap opera style I'm told. She opened her eye (she's going to need rehab with her right eye, it doesn't open on it's own right now), looked at Danny - cried and signed "I love you". They don't even write scripts this good! I am more than willing to eat my humble pie tonite.... if you read last nights' post you know why I'm saying this. It's not that I ever doubted Mily; it's that I know too much and have had too many patients in my care who are unable to overcome the odds. Yessiree, Mily is no ordinary girl - but we all knew that. I was unable to speak with the nurses today, so tonite's update is just spreading the good word and less clinical. On another note and for Mily's benefit when she can read this; the fundraiser is still very much in the works. We have had a wonderful response with offers of all kinds for help and donations; we will be taking all of you up on them, so stay tuned! More info will be coming shortly - thank you for your willingness to be involved. Rest tonite with a lighter heart; thank Him in your bedtime prayers.

But let me tell you little girl you did have us pretty darned scarred, but you know it reminds us to turn to our faith in God and let that reassure us. I love you all so much and am so happy for your family and all of us who love you dearly!! God speed and continue this road as I know it will be a long one but a journey that you of all people will take on full speed ahead! I am sending you all of the energy that I have today as I know that you are going to need it!

Ohhh... Thank God you are such a fighter. I've been praying for you. I knew you would pull through this. I just got done telling Tad that it's just not possible. There is no way you would be taken from all of us at such a young age. You're not done with your work here. Danny was just your first project... LOL. I love you Mily. Not just for who you are, but for all you have done for Chris and Danny. You're a giver, but now it's time for you to let everyone else take care of you. Just lay back and let God handle this one.
