Their was a family meeting this morning with the neurosurgeon. Danny was updated regarding Mily's hospital journey and her progress. Family and friends from Washington and California remain at the bedside around the clock for support for Mily and her family. The doctors and nurses taking care of her are doing an incredible job, she is in the care of fantastic clinicians, and receiving top notch care.
Mily remains on Versed for sedation and fentanyl for pain medication. On sedation she is able to spell that her "tummy hurt". She is able to open her left eye spontaneously, wave, and sign I love you (among other things, only we are not as proficient in ASL as Mily is). Her vitals remain stable and all the "numbers" look good. She is progressing in the best possible direction and continues to progress daily.
